Edward Youssuf Nakhle
He opened the first shop in Beirut, years before the city became the Paris of the Middle East. It sold dresses. But really, it sold care, the habit of knowing a woman and what she was dressing for.

For seventy years the Nakhle family has dressed the women of Beirut not by trend, but by name. One house, one woman at a time, with the same care behind every fitting.

She remembers the room you are dressing for, and the life around it, and she looks after both for years

Known by name. Dressed for the room.
